Gift Wrapping at Barnes & Noble

This year during our gift wrapping shifts at Barnes & Noble to raise funds for the rescue; we added a new location in Sugar Land and they allowed us to bring the furry ones along! BIG THANKS to all for coming out to help this year. The furry ones were a HUGE hit at the Sugar Land store and we're hoping to get more shifts at that location next year. Happy Howliday Hike & BBQ

We held a "Howliday Hike & Merriment" pawty for our volunteers, fosters and adopters on December 13. The skies were overcast and it was a bit cool but it was good for a couple of short hikes and a cookout!! We missed those who couldn't make it! Thanks to those who did! It was a lot of fun!!

Run Like The Wind Event, Dec 2009

Austin TAMR attended the Lee Mannix 'Run Like The Wind' fundraising event today. Lots of folks with their furry kids showed up to run in 25 degrees weather!! The ground was frozen solid when we got there to set up our booth!! Big THANK YOU to our Austin area volunteers, Marc and Barb (Banks), Ruby Dee, Lucy and Stan (Wolfy), Ted and Catherine (Tala) for helping out with booth duties. We all had a blast!
